Pamela Bowman is the Director of Human Resources at Western Illinois University. As an administrator, Ms. Bowman leads Western's 17-member resource staff and manages employee and labor relations, classification, compensation, employment, examination, diversity, training and development for approximately 1,000 classified staff and directs benefits administration for all eligible WIU employees, faculty, staff and administrators (approximately 2,000). As Director of Human Resources, she is also the University's representative to the State Universities Civil Service System and the State Universities Retirement System and she is responsible for ensuring University compliance with state and federal statues, laws and regulations relating to human resource management. She earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Northern Iowa and a master's degree in business leadership and human resource management from Upper Iowa University.

Pulchratia Kenny-Smith

Pulchratia Kinney-Smith is the Associate Director of Human Resources at Governors State University. In this capacity, she is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Department of Human Resources including acting on behalf of the Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Diversity in her absense as well as assisting with special projects. In addition, she is responsible for leading the HR/Payroll team in developing, maintaining and updating the Datatel Colleague HR/Payroll documentation. Pulchratia was originally hired at GSU in 2007 as the manager of Classification, Compensation and Employment and she continues to be responsible for activies related to classification and compsensation and assuring compliance with SUCSS rules and procedures. Pulchratia has seventeen years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources including eight years at the State Universities Civil Service System. Her Human Resources career started in 1994 on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. Pulchratia has a Master's Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Human Resources Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO.

Nicole is the Vice President of Human Resources at Robert Morris University Illinois. Her experience in education and corporate human resources includes working as a Director of both Human Resources and Employee Development and as an HR Generalist. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Iowa and her Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management and Development from National-Louis University. Nicole has also earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation.

Mark is the Manager of System Services, Network Administrator and Webmaster for Staff Human Resources at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is also the Webmaster for Illinois CUPA. He is a 1995 graduate of Eastern Illinois University.

Sandra Bowman

Sandy is currently the Interim Assistant Human Resources Director at Eastern Illinois University. She has been in Human Resources at EIU since 2001. She was the Training Coordinator for six years. She also serves EIU as the Ethics Officer. She was the Training Officer for Decatur, Illinois for seven years. She worked at Chanute Air Force Base in the Education Office and Aircraft Maintenance Training for 19 years, until its closure in 1993. A 1972 EIU graduate, she has also served EIU as a Resident Assistant, Graduate Assistant, and Night Clerk. She received her Master's in Education from EIU in 1973.

LouEster is employed by the University of Illinois at Chicago - Human Resources/Recruitment & Staffing (June 2010 to present). Lou Ester's employment started at UIC on December 11, 1989 and she has worked for Medical Center HR and Department of Psychiatry HR. She is pursuing her Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) certification with the Society of Human Resource Management.
LouEster serves as Illinois CUPA-HR Board Member-At-Large (2011-2013). She has served IL CUPA-HR as their former Immediate Past Chair (2009-2010), Chair (2006-2008), and Chair-Elect (2006). She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University (BS in Business Administration & Education) and former Illinois Educator for grades K-12 in Chicago Public Schools and Lake County systems. She was recognized in April, 2012 with the Chicago Defender’s 2012 Women of Excellence Honoree for her community and volunteer involvement.

LouEster continues to mentor, educate, and coach people in life aspects and to achieve their God-given talents. Her motto is "be a blessing unto someone and expect success."

Glenna Jones

Glenna is the Director of Human Resources for Illinois Valley Community College. She has been in Human Resources for nearly 20 years primarily in the manufacturing sector. Glenna crossed over to higher education in June 2006 when she joined the ranks at IVCC. Her education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lewis University. Glenna has also earned a Senior Professional in Human Resources SPHR) designation.
